winter rest

winter%20ice

with the new year approaching, it's time for some decluttering. i'm taking the next two days to reorganize and clear out my living space, working space and head space. i love starting a new year with a clean, fresh slate. so i'll return next year (well, next tuesday) with fresh thoughts and a fresh approach to d*s, as well as some exciting changes that are coming in the next month.

in the meantime, how does everyone out there plan to celebrate the new year? any fun plans? here's wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year. see you in 2006. xo, d*s

coincidentally, we've been doing the same thing for years - hit the reset button, reorganize and clear the clutter! all the best for a happy new year and look forward to hearing all your exciting changes!

i'll be spending my nye on the rugged oregon coast in a rustic cabin on a high bluff watching the waves crash and perhaps spotting a whale. fireplace, binoculars, big bay window.

i will be alone, it will be quiet, i will not think about work, and i hope it will be perfect.

i hope the new year is perfect for everyone.

Quiet dinner. Avoid the car-azy NYE/NYC scene.

I'm SURE that there will be a house cleaning...
Hopefully we will pick out some more furniture! :)

the Oregon coast thing sounds way cool BTW.

new years will be spent in Amsterdam tonight...it's just emerging from a snow storm. we'll eat oliebollen and watch the fireworks from a friend's home on the Amstel.
